Join a 100% employee owned, and highly ranked engineering firm in Denver. HDR is looking for a Wastewater Project Manager to join a successful and growing Wastewater engineering group. This person will plan and manage all aspects of wastewater design projects. Specific types of projects may include wastewater treatment facilities, membrane bio reactors, activated sludge, tertiary treatment systems, pumping stations and a variety of pipeline related projects. Participates in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance. Establishes client relations and is involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings. Conducts schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with Project Managers, appropriate technical professionals and other disciplines. Is responsible to coordinate the staffing and workload of the staff through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule. Works with Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and the Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews. Responsible for implementing QA/QC procedures. Conducts work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff. Is responsible to coordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule. Masters degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering required.

10+ years of engineering experience in wastewater required.

Professional Engineer (PE) License in Colorado required.

Industrial Wastewater experience is heavily desired.



Good leadership and organizational skills.

Strong communication and listening skills. Ability to handle multiple assignments.
