Our Billings, MT office is looking for a Transmission Design EIT to join our Top 10 nationally ranked team of Transmission and Distribution Design professionals. The main duties of the position are to conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of cost estimates, designs, and specifications. You will perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures while working independently on small projects and assisting project and senior engineers on larger projects. May give direction to clerical and technical personnel.

• Engineering Degree required.

• Experience in transmission line design desired.

• Engineer In Training (EIT) preferred and active commitment to obtain Professional Engineer (P.E.) License.

• Experience performing aspects of PLSCADD, structure analysis, project cost estimates, plan and profile preparation, optimization, specifications and drawings, and other engineering documents required for power transmission line projects through 500kV is desired.

• Overhead power transmission is the focus of this position although any underground transmission experience would be helpful.
