The primary duties of the Cost Engineer/Resident Engineer is to manage the project controls aspect on Transportation programs. Primary duties involve planning and monitoring all cost and financial aspects on related projects. May support Sr. Project Managers in the running of individual construction projects. Develops cost estimates, cost control scheduling and will have client interaction responsibilities. May be involved in the coordination or Management of several projects concurrently, and works as an integral member of project teams. Maintains communications and records of cost information and related cost estimating sources, cost indexes and references.
