The primary duties of the Senior Design Engineer are to independently manage and create detailed designs, plans, specifications and estimates for pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, tanks and other water and wastewater storage and conveyance systems. More specific responsibilities include determining and writing scopes and budgets for various design and study related projects; engineering/process design; project coordination; determining and writing engineering specifications; planning work; establish appropriate design methods; report preparation and coordination, equipment sizing and selection and working directly with the owner; establishing new quality standards and value engineering solutions as well as conducting quality control reviews of completed designs. The successfull candidate will be viewed as a technical expert with recognized authority in area of water and wastewater systems.

At least 10 years experience with municipal water and wastewater systems planning and design.

Strong technical background and experience in designing water distribution systems.
